KRETA - Pomegranates at the Botanical Garden

So... YES I DID IT! I went on vacation all by myself. 5 days in Georgioupolis/Kreta. A 1,5 hours drive westwards from Heraklion the capital city of Kreta.

It was a very sunny and relaxing holiday for me. All went very well and I enjoyed myself, spent a lot of time on the beach, the ocean is always such a beautiful place for me. 

I also made a bus trip there to the former capital city of Kreta called CHANIA. Chania has got a very nice venezian looking little Port and there are many beautiful alleys around the port where you can enjoy good food or go shopping.

And I visited the Botanical Garden near Chania. After all the very old olive trees of the family have been destroyed in a fire ten years ago, they made up their mind to create that green place there with many different trees and flowers. You can find different citrus trees there, fig trees, chestnut trees, Orange Trees, Avocado Trees, Banana Plants, many Olive trees, Hibiscus flowers, Palm trees, pomegranate trees, Lemon Trees, Macadamia Nut trees and so on....

Greece is beautiful, I had a very good time on Rhodes and now enjoyed the Cretan sun.
