My favourite element is water. This picture is taken at the Grand Rapids - the water there is flowing so fast I´ve never seen before.

Such a simplistic capture, seen everyday by most if not all of us - yet Beautiful Element of Water by *cactusmumkate showcases movement, strength, power and fragility all in one fantastic shot. ( Suggested by =little-billie and Featured by ^Kaz-D )

A very intimate composition. The framing works incredibly well with this. Normally such small moments of action are rather plain and lack real interest. Not at all the case with this piece.

The curl of the current really pleases the eye and the slight motion blur of the moving water conveys a sense of action.. an element most 'still' photos can never achieve.

And lastly the coloration of reflection on the top of the water really pulls this piece together.

When I saw this piece on your page I thought for sure it was a Daily Deviation. Sadly it is not, at least not yet
